Please tell me there's more to this game. I was fine with them repeating games, but it seems like they made them easy as fuck and way shorter compared to the games they were originally in. And are there seriously no remixes? That's like the whole point of the game.
>>
You're still in the story mode, don't worry, it gets way better. There are remixes too.
>>
You unlock the proper length songs when you beat the whole game
>>
The "story" mode is shit.
However, the game is mostly recycled originals with some remixes.

>it's announced for Europe
>it's coming late October

I'm getting it physical at least, but I hate this Yurocuck meme
>>
Why the fuck it we have to wait 4 months to get this game in EU
>>
>>341589782
>>341589719
Maybe they're doing a completely different localisation again, like the wii version. Hopefully they include the japanese versions again.
>>
>>341590097
The NA version already has dual audio
>>
>>341590215
Oh really? Good. Sorry I missed that part of the treehouse last night.
>>
that tangobot game is too tricky for me. the coin toss music screwed me over too
>>

tbqh, id rather trade a late release date than this
>>
>>341588315
>sakamoto's losing streak continues

yes

yessssss
>>
>>341588315

you play shittier and easier version of games because the game really wanted that casual audience

then after a bunch of them you reach a bit where 6 tower emerges and the tower have the games at their actual difficulty from the original

then if i remember right there are 4 more tower and after that a final with 3 more tower

there are remixes but it doesn't matter because there are only 12 new minigames and the rest is all picked from old games, the whole game was really a disappointment for me
>>
>>341591210

by the way at the time of the japanese release everyone was asking "what game are in it" so i compiled a list

http://pastebin.com/7kSpWzdp
>>
>>341589719
Maybe they're dubbing the game to French, Italian, Spanish and more like they did with Paradise.

I played the Japanese version about a year ago, here is how the game progresses:

- 6 linear "stages" with 4 easy babby mode games each
- A tower with 4 more games and a remix
- Roll credits...?
- 6 more towers with "normal" difficulty games and remixes that you can complete in whichever order you want
- Roll credits again...?
- Another batch of 3 linear "stages" with normal difficulty games
- 3 final towers with "hard" (i.e. Rhythm Rally 2, Space Dance 2. etc.) games and "Remix 10" being split up into three smaller remixes.
- Actually roll credits.

Then at any time after you've unlocked the café, you can buy another 18 extra minigames.

You can also do the challenge courses, which are playlists of 3-7 minigames with modifiers attached to them (tempo up, only 2 misses etc.), which I highly recommend since the final batch of challenges are difficult as fuck even for rhythm heaven veterans thanks to essentially being Go For a Perfect + Tempo Up at the same time.
>>
>>341589782
because you guys are presumably getting physical copies of the game too

I think it's an eShop exclusive in the US
>>
Is this the best Rhythm Heaven game?
>>
>>341593353

Having never played any Rhythm Heaven game before, I'm super excited about how much there is. The story mode games did seem pretty short, and the ones I'm familiar with (like Chorus Men) seemed especially short.
>>
>>341594247
Rhythm heaven ds had the best music but the touch screen controls were always so finicky

Athough i will admit i do miss the WAHS in glee club
>>
>>341594696
in regular rhythm heaven a minigame lasts ~2 min
you do 5 minigames and unlock a remix that combines them into one song, after 5 remixes you start doing harder versions of the original minigames
Remix 10 combines every minigame into one ~6 min song
>>
>>341589719
That's why you should pirate. Nintendo has fucked EU so many times, I don't even give a fuck when I pirate DQVII.
>>
>>341592531
I would like it. The french dub of Paradise was great.
>>
>>341594696
yeah, I've never played one before so I'll probably download this one
If the game lacks new things then I won't really notice since it's all new to me
>>
>>341595191
The Spanish one was great too
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rr2_yhH_BaE
>>
>>341593353
I played the Jap version too, can confirm the final tier of challenge mode is hard as fuck
>>
>>341588315
Please for the love of fuck

Does the English version change any of the old games's lyrics for stuff like Frog Hop and Fan Club? I fucking hated how none of the songs in RH DS had lyrics that rhymed.

so whats the best new game and why is it the sumo one?

Any chance of physical release for USA? How big is it if you download it?
>>
>>341589719
Just download it now and buy the physical copy when it comes out. That way you have a game and an unopened copy for your collection.
>>

Why does nintendo still insist on using this retarded unit of measurement when literally everyone with a working brain understands the concept of megabytes and gigabyt?
>>
>>341596274
they changed it to megabytes and giga in the Wii U so at least they are keeping those measurements now.
>>
>>341596274
Wii U doesn't use blocks so they probably stopped doing that now

Personally I wouldn't have minded these early easy as shit minigame versions if they had no story dialogue at all in between each minigame you beat.

At least the retro sprite version of Samurai is great.
>>
>>341596529

I'm glad it came out early. Didn't have a Wii so I've essentially got about half a game worth of new stuff. You can't help but just smile when playing some of them.

>>341588878
Excellent. Some of the stages ended way too early. Are the full length versions using the original music though? Some of these are using new music.
>>
>>341589719
>late October
Fucking really? Tell me this is a joke.

JUST
>>
>>341601167
It's a trade off

US gets it earlier, but as an eShop exclusive. You guys will be getting it physically.
>>
>>341599964
they do use the original music
>>
>>341603202
Huh, does that mean the museum is updated with another space for the original music alongside the new music for these games?
>>
>>341590215
Yeah, but any new songs don't have english dubs, they replace the vocals with shitty midi trumpets. So if you wanted new emglish dubs, too bad
>>
>>341604070
I wonder what the hell could have taken this game so long if that's all they were going to do

You'd think getting English singers would be the most expensive/time consuming aspect
>>
>>341604331
I actually got my hopes up, I was really curious to see how they'd sound
>>
>>341595570
Nope. It uses higher-quality versions of those songs
