What's Windows 10 like for vidya? I'm considering upgrading before the free give outs end.
I've heard you can disable all the annoying shit, so my primary concern is whether vidya runs well or whether I can still play ancient games.
Vidya runs fine on it.

In exchange of your privacy you can now play xbone games.
Besides that, tons of older games don't work on Win10. Don't even bother with Japanese ones.
In still on windows 7 and so far haven't been hit by that "YOU'LL BE MISSING OUT ON ALL GAMES BECOMING DIRECT 12" thing people warned me about.
I think windows 10 runs easier on the RAM and takes up less space so those are two video game related aspects

>less space
>easier on RAM
Quite the opposite, my friend.

I've already accepted that whatever spy shit they're up to has already installed into Win7 through the regular updates. Besides you can disable a lot of the obvious really bad spy stuff if you dig through the settings, from what I hear.
>Besides that, tons of older games don't work
Shit, really? Got any examples? That might be a killer for me.

Haven't tested all games I had on my disposal, but most games prior 2006 simply didn't work, unless I used a VM with Win7.

keep telling yourself that, give it more time and it will be "free, always"
>>341587000
it's no different for gaming than any other Windows, that's a stupid question
>>341587285
If the game works on 7 it's gonna work on 10
>>341587687
I haven't had a problem with old games working on 10

I'm getting mixed messages here.
Since windows 10 downloaded on my pc I have to reset the cmos everytime I want to turn it on to use it, I've never over clocked it either

>le pol meme
Literally nothing wrong with the privacy on windows 10 if you turn them off and ain't a pedo.
Thought keep crying that the big bad corporations are stealing your precious memes.
I've had it since it launched and haven't ran into any issues with games. as for old games, i played system shock 2 when i got it free on gog and it ran just fine

Just try it, you can always go back to whatever you had before, or google it.
