which is worrying, because they probably only have enough time left to iron out major bugs. inafunes participation in anything is also a reason for concern, at least for me. hes good at selling ideas for games, but i dont trust him with anything more technical than that.
e.g. i was really excited to play soul sacrifice (not delta). until i played it. it felt bland and uninspired (in terms of gameplay), but the idea is still interesting.
also he doesnt seem to be good at managing monetary or human resources. might be the typical idea guy.

It's apparently an open-world action-adventure with some minor RPG elements (Though what they showed off made it look like a TPS crossed with an early-mid '00s platformer). Devs cited Metroid and "90s Zelda" ascoreinspirations for the game itself, withThe Last of Usbeing influential on the plot and writing of the game.

A lot of what you see here is from backers who are probably a bit justified in being snarky about him, given how dishonest Inafune ended up being with the budget (And the subsequent corners they cut as a result). Like, you had people here chipping in quite sizeable amounts of money as a "FUCK YOU!" to Capcom because they were pissy that they'd more or less just given up on MegaMan, and were really hoping MN9 would be the second coming, so when Inafune doesn't really spend the money in the right places and the game comes out beingreasonably good, but nothing specialas opposed to amazing, you're gonna see people bitching.
