Bring home the bacon and discuss the sinister swine of vidya.
And why are most pig characters evil, anyway? Pigs are cool.
Probably something to do with them representing gluttony and greed.

They're an allegory of ourselves

They do tend to show one or both of those traits. Which is ironic, since in real life pigs are actually fussy eaters who don't eat very much.

But we're not space wizards.

Yes but the iconic pig image is them eating the leftover garbage from the family's dinner. There's a reason the phrase is "slop the hogs".

>the most delicious animal is portrayed as the dirtiest and most voracious
I feel bad for them.

>most delicious animal
>not the chicken
I'm actually running out of ideas of evil pigs in videogames. I guess there really aren't that many.

It's a tie between pork and beef for me. Crab and shrimp are third, chicken is fourth.
And we can't forget about these guys.

Thanks for the list of evil pigs in video games...
Anyone remember Rocket Knight Adventures? The villains in that were a kingdom of pigs led by a robot pig emperor who wanted a giant battlestation called the Pig Star.
There's also these guys from Donkey Kong Jungle Beat, the Mo-Hogs.

Jungle Beat had no right being as good as it is.

>you're not a space wizard

>>341552439
no but i remember Sparkster
>"Oooooooouuurrrgh!"
>>341555016
Criminally underrated game, I loved it even if the controls were unconventional.
>>341555270
A worthy sequel, but RKA was much better.

Jungle Beat really was incredible for such a gimmicky game.
