Columbine Kid and Weeaboo are my go to attackers. Its a lot more fun as the ninja, and against a lot of rapid-fire enemies the E is monstrous, but edgelord is a lot better if theres a lot of tanks. If there's already a few attackers I go Zenyatta, who's surprisingly strong for a support if you can aim well. On defense its always Bastion, because half the maps have horrible chokepoints that can be impossible to break through.

I still don't get what's with McCree. Even with the nerf, he still does exactly what he did before against tanks. Flash + Fan + Roll + Fan still does 565 damage before a person can move, and fan now reloads faster than before even. Not sure with armor involved, but that seems like it'd kill everything but Roadhog from full health, and just because Roadhog can survive with less than 50 health doesn't mean it's now balanced.

imo all of the characters with abilities that disable enemy movement completely are pure cancer. I don't know why any game designer thinks to include stuff like that, it's 0 fun and 0 interesting in the way they implemented it. the only one I am fine with is garbagemans trap, because you can easily see it on the floor and avoid it, while with others, it's mostly too late to do anything about it if you're in a position where it's dangerous for you, except maybe with a couple of characters like genji.

mei mains are fine and she's easy to deal with and building her walls correctly actually requires a degree of intelligence, torbjorn is so easy to counter and he's always great to have on defense and requires more intelligence than the characters i listed when it comes to turret placement and actually actively getting kills and collecting scrap and armor for your team mates rather than just camping next to your turret. hanzo requires actual skill and also some degree of intelligence to use correctly, moreso than widowmaker and can get easily owned by other heroes.
why doesnt junkrat take damage from his mine? close range characters like tracer or reaper or even solider 76 should be able to own him but all he has to do is detonate a mine in his fucking face and he's scot free

This. Absolutely fucking this. Now he's even easier to play and has an even lower skill cap. People are fucking retarded and don't realize that his Fan has a huge spread. Now I'm only able to actually take someone out using my ENTIRE TOOLKIT if I am in quick fucking melee range, and if I'm even a rat's tail distance, then I get killed after I ambush them because McCree is absolute dogshit in close quarters combat once he doesn't have his flashbang. This is coming from someone who regularly gets all gold with basically every hero, mind you, and I used to get all gold with McCree too. I was wondering why I have literally not seen a single person pick him since his nerf, and now I see why. He's fucking useless now.

Here's a crazy thought, try NOT shoving your head into the asshole of every enemy you see and complain about his close range damage and instead try to stay at mid range give that left click a try. I know it's been awhile since you've used it, but it does pretty damn good damage and is pinpoint accurate. Save your fans and flashbangs for squishy flankers. I understand it can be difficult to change your playstyle to the way he was intended to be used from the beginning, but he's not useless simply because he doesn't work the same way he used to.
