Anyone here playing the Halo Wars 2 beta? I don't believe the first one was well received, even though it was always my guilty pleasure.
How are you guys enjoying or hating it?
I enjoy the new point system, but I'm sincerely hoping that Cutter's voice actor is just a placeholder. Otherwise that's disappointing. Overall though, I'm pretty hype.
Buggy as fuck beta but it's fun with a friend. UI is unresponsive garbage that doesn't feel intuitive because you have to press A so deliberately to actually execute actions and assigning groups and using commander powers feels clunky.
Otherwise it's more halo wars so that's cool, might pick it up at a discount.

I agree about the commander powers, feels like sometimes I don't even get to select the actual power, and the other times I just have a bunch of stutter. I need to get my bud on, but our work schedules aren't synced and he has a two year old, so it's been hard.

I'm not having the kid, a little to neckbearded for that. But he had his kid out of wedlock with some crazy chick. Now he's single, but he's my mate so I can't up and leave him.
It's even worse when you think that Halo 1 was my first Halo game when I was in 1st grade, and Halo 3 was my first 360 game.

I heard somewhere it's about them landing on the Ark, but this is after the Covenant has lost. So they might still just be cut off from the rest of the military, and their tech will be Halo 1 level. Their Spartan's are the Spartan-II Red Team still, so they won't have a way to upgrade ODST's to Spartans.
