I liked the Star Trek and Eagle VR games. They're such simple concepts but the idea seems solid. I'm hoping they turn out to be $30 each because I don't feel like there's a whole lot there but both games seem really neat and fun. Steep seems cool but I'm really surprised by the lack of VR, especially with all the GoPro advertisement in the game. Ghost Recon Wildlands looks like a lot of fun but I'm gonna be extra cautious with that one; seems like an easy game to fuck up. For Honor's single player looks lame but the multiplayer from last year is what got me really excited for it.
Fractured but Whole really surprised me. They could've played it totally safe and just made more of the same with a different setting but going as far as changing the combat from the ground up was really impressive, and it looks great. I'm really excited for it now.
Not much from either Microsoft or Sony were really interesting. The new Spider Man and God of War games seem cool. Forza Horizon 3 looks neat. RE7 and Shattered Death are way too early to even understand what they're about. Overall, nothing too new or interesting. Bethesda's conference was nice but, again, nothing amazing.
I haven't seen any other conferences yet but I'm surprised that I haven't heard any news about Final Fantasy 7 or 14. Or hardly anything Final Fantasy related for that matter, aside from FF15 of course.
