Problem is that all their other games are AAA shit people don't buy for Nintendo's platforms. Ubishoft only cares about making huge franchise cash-cows and they sell better on PS4/Xbone. Holds true for most big publishers, they only push what sells really, really well on every platform.
Activision has no problem supporting Wii U with Skylanders but anything else? Nope, it's either going to be M-rated AAA garbage there isn' really an audience for or won't be able to compete with Nintendo's own family-friendly titles. The bloated AAa model is keeping publishers from making much beyond huge AAA blockbusters, western AA and more niche games are all but dead outside indies.
