It's always a tossup between the Bloodletter and the Whirligig Saw for me.
I had over 200 blood vials when I started the hunter's dream on ng+. Since then, I've been trying to defeat Ludwig and kept dying and dying. Now I have none stored left. Does anyone know here I can farm them easily?

Real early game I like to run between Gascoine's (Tomb of Oedon) and Cleric Beast's (Great Bridge) lanterns, killing all the enemies.
A little further in, I just farm the sack guys in Yahar'Ghul for twin bloodstones and spend the echoes on buying vials.

for easy blood echoes you can go to mergos loft middle and make the pigs kill all the shadows of yharnam. what evers left over you can clean up easily. make sure you have all the eye runes equipped.

Cleaver is my favorite, but Flamesprayer worked wonders on some of the bosses, especially Amelia. I also liked Whirligig and Cane.

Mergos loft middle, equip all your blood echo runes, and 1 heir because its easy visceral on the pigs and you get about 70k a run if you just leave, kill the 3 shadows of yharnam and the 3 pigs.

I never see love for the Kirkhammer. I destroyed my first playthrough with that thing. I only ever switched it out once and that was becuase Defiled Watchdog was doing horrible things to me. It has some of the longest combo streaks I've seen out of all the weapons and it's charged R2, R2 is orgasmic when it lands. Kirkhammer is love.

Not that Anon, and I agree that Whirligig and LHB are superior on a technical level. But two reasons Kirk is superior on other levels would be,
1. It's not a crutch weapon with an overpowered moveset so instead of relying on OP moves you have to be good to use it, which is a lot more fun and rewarding.
2. It's not a meme weapon used by 80% of the players like whirlimeme and memeblade are which gives you a PVP advantage on account of them knowing nothing about what to expect from its moveset.
3. (Bonus) It's manly as fuck you prancing ninny.
But come the end it's all inferior to the Wheel.

In my opinion, not quite. It is extremely good; the gameplay, world design and atmosphere are all top-tier. However when it comes down to it, it is essentially just a different take on the Souls formula. Inb4 triggered fanboys, but I think Witcher 3 beats it as an overall package. Sure the gameplay isn't anywhere close to as good as Bloodborne's, but I got much more out of TW3 as an overall experience. That is my subjective opinion.

It just feels pretty off to have big ass places to farm in a game so fluid like BB plus is clear as water that they added the dungeons as means to extend the game in an boring way instead of more cool optional areas like the vileblood castle.
MY main complain with the base game got fixed with the dlc so others thigns are just minor stuff
