Did you see the gameplay footage that roughly followed what happened in the trailer? It looked really bad. Prey would stop shortly after losing line of sight with you and wait for you to catch up. Wallhack vision was one of the abilities. Kill-everyone-in-sight shoulder mounted RL the other. Enemies were non-threatening, graphics weren't mind-blowing. It just did not look like a good game. The original Prey similarly had a neat premise but awful gameplay.
