As someone who will play shit on any system and doesnt really care about that side of this, this was one of the only games this year that looked really solid gameplay wise. The main character did overexplain what to do but could just be tutorial stuff.

It's another pretty ps4 exclusive, and third person game but what really got me was the combat depth.
Compared to lazy shallow combat from shit like the glitcher 3, or zelda the wild downgrade, there's some actually depth to the combat.
Also really like the multitude of weapons and how you have things that work and things that won't and it varies from enemy to enemy, the game looks gorgeous and the gameplay looks deep and fun.

No, in zelda is shallow as fuck, they added a lot of depth to this basic concept by giving enemies weak points, strong points, elemental weaknesses, status effects etc.
Zelda is doing different weapons yes, but its basic shallow shit like most games, horizon is going the manditory steps beyond.

This new demo didn't do much for me except make the story look more and more generic. It could be pretty fun but only time will tell. I also hate how much she talks during gameplay so hopefully that gets toned down before release. Also I hate how they all have American accents. The only thing worse would have been if they all sounded British since that's what American writers associate with old.

I think it look good. A fully fleshed out machine ecosystem sounds fun to explore, and there's some huge creatures to hunt in an open world. It's also being written by the lead writer of New Vegas.
