3x3 thread: recommendation edition
if you are post a 3x3, recommend a previous poster a game based on their 3x3.

Bit of a flawed concept. I like a lot of the games in your 3x3 but it doesn't really give me a consistent idea of what kind of games you like.
I've always seen 3x3 threads as a form of reccomendation thread anyway. You look for grids that are similar to your own tastes, and then check out the games on those grids that you haven't played before.

I have played every single Kirby game and it's my favorite franchise, Robobot is the best game imo.
I can't recommend it enough. The ending was fantastic, and it's just a good improvement on the Kirby series in general. I 100% finished it in about 25 hours

Odin Sphere is incredible. I wasn't sure if it was too soon to put it in a 3x3, but everything that was holding it back on the PS2 has been fixed. You'd probably really like it if you're into action games and rpgs.

What keeps it from being incredible for me is retreading the same ground and bosses with every new character. Still, pretty good game, though a bit on the easy side and I'm going through it first time on Hard.

Reach was overall great, even if the maps were shit and in spite of it's other problems. 4 I agree insn't good as a halo game but is fine as it's own thing. Halo 5's MP is actually fantastic and I like it even more then 3's, but the campaign was meh
Most of the newer novels (since the garbage that was the last travis one) are pretty great. Broken Circle and last light were Ghosts of Onyx tier.
So yeah. There's been trip ups since ODST, but there's still great or at least good stuff.

I've played every Halo, and I'm one of those people who always felt the series declined after 3.
Then I played 5, realized if I was 14 I'd still be head over heels for it, then had the realization the multiplayer was fantastic and I actually missed playing it with friends.

Fair enough, and yeah, it is easy on hard, ESPECIALLY compared to Classic mode, but the trials and trying to go for the S Ranks have been challenging me a bit on hard at times, and I hear the post game stuff can be pretty brutal so i'll see. The repetition is inherent to the game and the structure, and that is a problem with the game, I guess that part of it never bugged me much though.

Well, there's no denying 4 was a fuck stepping down with the default settings, so I don't think it's entirely nostalgia that's making people hate 343. They have made legimately bad descsions.
but 5's MP is also legimately just really good as halo MP.It's bullshit there's no local play though
