New touches to gameplay look good. Anyone manage to get a hold of the demo?

it could honestly be a straight rehash of the first one and i'd still be excited for it.
i like all the extra detail.
>>341373664
its a damn rehash, why should i buy it again?seriously, why?

>story
>improved graphics
>updated variety to combat
>new environments
>>341374363
gameplay is all i care about, it LOOKS the same but i bet they made it smoother and added new weapons but all i see is kicking in the air or whatever it was called in the first game
>>341374548
Well its actually made for a console now instead of a handheld
Gameplay should be much smoother
How the fuck is there no date for this? Wait for Gamescom to announce a November date?
>>341374726
i played the ps4, apparently the vita had frame drops and awful controls like dodging by sliding the screen
its a wait and see for me, i liked the game but the gameplay can get repetitive
>>341374827
It's supposedly still set for the end of this year. Nothing cemented though.
>>341374548
There's still kicking to be had. Different combat modes and styles though.
Is there an official link somewhere? Where is the footage from bros
>>341375628
huh, that webm showed a new move which is cool but i still remain skeptical for a lot of games like that new zelda
i want to see gameplay of the final build and see the lists of moves and see if new enemies help to stop the constant use of kicking in the hair
Love the look of it.
>>341375628
>>341374056
Seconded. Hope there's some more closure this time around at least.
>>341373664
Like the team dynamic.
>>341373664
will the game have more combat depth than "gravity kick everything" this time? I know they have the different styles now but it still seems easily abusable
>>341380731
Based on the new game having the same mana bar icon, I would assume that they would bring back the same rechargeable powers that the first game had.
Don't know what moves they have lined up for it yet apart from the different skill sets that come with the different combat styles though.
>tfw I live in a different country so I couldnt go to toyamas E3 booth and meet him and play the new demo.
FUCK my life, they even gave out free gravity rush notepads, just end it familia
>>341382196
Missed it too anon. Missed it too.
>reuploading an IGN video
Is this how you fucks make money for yourselves?
>>341382926
First link to the video I found honestly.

>Kat straight up kicks soldiers out of the city
Guess we can add murder to her repertoire.
>>341382731
I sent him a nice tweet, its the least I can do I feel. I hope he reads it and I hope GR2 has a successful launch, its one of the best and most beautiful games I've ever played. What a great vision for a game man, I love it
>>341383795
They're fiiine. Narratively.
>>341373664
Why haven't we seen Syd in any of these trailers? They gave him a new outfit and is going to be a big part of the story yet nowhere to be seen
>>341381879
It'd be nice if the details in her scarf and headband also lighted up in the different modes
>>341384628
Is he gonna fuck Kat?
GR looks fun as hell. Considering buying a PS4 just for GR 1+2. I watched a gameplay vid of 1 and it seemed like the format of the gameplay was sort of like a free-roam environment with quests from NPC's. Is that right? And is that coming back in 2?
>>341384628
I've seen a few screenshots, but Syd hasn't really been a major combatant, so I guess he won't show up too much in previews that are mainly emphasizing gamplay.
>>341385394
Yeah the free-roam is fun, Kat is cute and has a funny/cool personality and the comic style cutscenes are nicely drawn and have a lot of charm.
Story is very like a super hero comic, I liked it. BUT. Gameplay is very barebones and story and side missions are all "Fly here. Get this object, drop some other point, kill monster". No variety. Combar is useless since you can simply rider kick everything to oblivion and throw some special attacks once in a while
Challenge missions also have very little variety. It's a short game but it isn't stellar. It's a little cult classic because it has a lot of charm.

>calls Kat Gravity Queen
>not Alias
>>341385096
Probably will. If I recall correctly, he named her Kat so it's only fair he does hit it.
>>341385394
There are a handful of side-missions and challenges, but the first game doesn't have a very large selection of side-quests to choose from outside of the main story.
I quite enjoy the flight and exploration in itself, and think it's worth a buy for the main game, but I am hoping that GR2 continues to expand on the side-content now that it's moved things to the PS4.
>>341386738
>Not Alias
We'll see.
>>341373664
Does it run at 60FPS like the remaster?
>>341380505
Hoping there's banter.
>>341387219
I had friends who couldn't get into Gravity Rush on Vita because they complained about motion sickness. They had a lot more fun with the PS4 version because the smoother frame rate and bigger screen solved the motion sickness problem. I love GR and I own both versions, though I must as as much as I loved playing it on my Vita the PS4 is much better suited for the game.
