It wasn't even that big. Bethesda just hates writing actual quests and settle for that fucking piece of shit radiant quest system that made Skyrim abysmal.

Especially the institute it leaves you with a cliffhanger youre the new leader, but you cant do anything. They say you have fathers quaters but they dont give it to you, only 5 quests for them. And they dont let you change the way the institute operates at all.

It's literally just busy work. At least Oblivion had the decency to hide it's fetch quests behind interesting writing and told a story while it was at it. And that's one of the main issues I have with rq. They just make the world feel more lifeless than it should. There's no story with these quests. You just go here, get an item or kill some fucker, then get your gold and fuck off. I'll concede that Skyrim still had interesting quests throughout it's world, but Fallout 4 is 90% radiant quest and 75% of the population attacks you on sight

The settlement garbage.
It also looked like a previous-gen game. The atmosphere was lacking. Leveling system was way too dumbed down. Not enough loot. Main quest was boring.
This actually hurts to talk about, fallout 3 is one of my favourite games, I found it extremely engaging. I haven't even finished fallout 4 and I don't think I will out of spite. Fuck you Todd.
Who the fuck is gonna relate to the main character at all, the people playing this game most likely aren't married nor do they have kids. I could not give a hot fuck about this child I know nothing about.

It didn't feel like an rpg... The gunplay was fun but there was very little choice in guns, the graphics were good too but that was it. I replayed NV over and over and over but I only did this one 4 times just to get all the endings, by the third time I just rushed through the story to get to the end I was so bored
