The camera change makes sense, but the quick time events are kind of silly. I don't see the point in making it more cinematic, while taking control away from the player. Other than that I like the way it looks and the general style of the game. Though it seems like a lot of the Norse mythology will get lost somewhere in the context of Kratos and Sparta.

Either way it had gotten stale and was finished. The old GoW is dead. The fact that there's a new GoW doesn't change that, this game is only a positive, it doesn't take away the old games from having existed.
Besides, people overreact. Based on this tutorial demo, people think it's a hunting game where you babysit a kid. But the game will still have huge setpieces and stylish action, combat will probably be better than old GoW though different, and the son will become a reliable partner, and be utilized in puzzles etc. It looks like it will be a beautiful, fun game.
