I've started playing it recently on the ps3 and it's fucking great. Dated as fuck graphically, but the writing is on point and combat makes for a serviceable brawler. It basically feels like a smaller scale GTA set in an academic town.
Yes, it aged pretty well, played and finished it for the first time a few months ago, anyway check the community guides for the 60 fps mod and the widescreen fix
It's the only good game rockstar has ever made.

A lot of memorable moments, fun, well paced, and never stress to just do missions (it's fun just to fuck around).
Also, you get to hooking up with like 5 underaged school girls in it. That's always a bonus.
It still holds up today, but the real value comes from the nastalgia of playing it back when it was first released.
