playstation fans don't really like video games and they're too dumb to understand real film
so these moviegames are the perfect product for them. the games are dumb enough that sony ponies can understand them but simple enough "gameplay" that they can easily get through it without much effort.
they're also always 6-10 hours long and have no replayability so it fits in with their schedule really well.
