I just realized I don't want to expend effort getting better at a team game. A certain percentage of games are almost entirely unwinnable and some are nearly unloseable. That's just a waste of time.
I'll just stick to 1v1 games mostly. Street Fighter is fun because if I get better then it affects every single match.
I never go against someone doing double damage because the person before me got perfected.
League was never a fun game.
But, the fun comes from beating the shit out of people that deserve it. Like Fizz players.
They changed team builder to rank 25 requirement. Blind pick was awful, moved on to HoTS then quit that too
I don't know, pre-season 6 killed it for me. Season 5 towards the end was disappointing me more and more.
Maybe I would've sticked to it a bit longer, but all my friends stopped playing one after another so I stopped, too.

Played normals for years, went into ranked and got to Gold V in 200 games with a 57% win rate and was happy. Season resert and I realized nothing I strived for mattered, the stick would continue to get further away and they will put you right back to where you started. I never had fun in ranked anyways since my enjoyment was based on whether I won or lost. Season came out and I went on a massive lose streak to open up and realized I wasn't having fun and didn't see the point to continue.
Dynamic queue was the nail in the coffin though. Sometimes my friends ask me to play every few weeks or so and I will play something silly and stupid for a game but thats about it. Glad its dying though.

Games were too long. Spending too much money on skins. Didn't want to put the time in to do solo queue. Community wasn't fun to play with. Friends were either way higher rank than me - so I'd match with people way better than me all the time - or really bad, so I'd never win a game playing with them. My favourite characters got nerfed to oblivion and tossed aside and I didn't want to play the "meta" champs.
Uninstalled a year ago and never looked back. Still glad I did.

Playing a 30+ minute game with a troll on your team because he didn't get to play X hero or X class and your teammates refusing to surrender is the worst fucking thing. And leaving the game early causes you to get a 10-30 minute game suspension. Just retards perpetuating more retardation

I quit League about 3 years ago when I realized that somehow the game had only gotten less interesting since beta, that as they added more characters, less and less were played and less and less played differently.
Because it's awful and boring and no fun allowed. Riot has always been kind of shitty but as time went on they've only been getting worse and worse. I hate how their game is so rigid and if you every try to play a character in the wrong way they nerf the shit out of it until you have to. And I hate how laning doesn't matter for anyone but the jungler. I don't even know what they're doing with all the lore and shit now, they cancled their newspaper/background writing team because they can't possibly afford it (somehow) and if it wasn't bad enough that each new character is just some generic guy, they went back and ruined all the old character's backstories too.
Now if I want to play an easy game I play HotS because you can just play whatever character you like with whatever garbage skill build you think is fun and still win.

I quit 50 different times since S1 from burnout rather than any specific reason, what actually kept me gone was switching to Dota. The game was a complete fucking mess and going downhill fast when I left, this was around when Skarner got his Dominion minigame
It was going down hill for a while before i quit, but it was mostly because i got a job. League takes up way too much fucking time and i don't have the luxury of free time as much as i used to before. I'd rather come home, get comfy, and play some other less stressful game

Overwatch
For a long time I would kind of automatically open up the game and play whenever I just wanted time to move faster. Maybe 10% of the games I played due to this were fun. It was honestly like what I imagine being in an abusive relationship was like.
Then I bought Overwatch on a whim and realized that it didn't need to be this way, that I could have fun in online games that don't take 40 minutes on average anymore.

I didn't like the changes that Riot kept making to the game. Every 2 weeks, they would patch and reinvent 20 champs and they started adding random shit to champions for no reason. The games weren't fun anymore and it didnt feel like the same game as it was in the golden days of season 2/3.
Also it was eating up all my time, so I decided it was in my best interest to stop playing.

Stagnation. Death of Journal of Justice. Powercreep. Nerfs and buffs based around unranked player feedback. More and more new, poorly designed champions that introduced mechanics that would never become expanded upon or reused. Every "new" champion costing 6000+ ip, even after years of being released. Metagame that is extremely rigid, balanced around everyone having a Flash spell. I could go on, the game is really a disaster.
I am still playing sometimes and yesterday I just noticed something:
