NO ONE wanted him in TP in the first place. you're messing with me, right? there was a chance to have a villain that wasn't a ganon reincarnate every time and Ganondorf ended up showing up at the very last second to be the villain. and THEN nintendo went on to solidify the fact that ganon will always be a villain in Demise's reincarnation with Skyward Sword. formulas do not make a good game
