Just picked up this hunks DLC. Already played through Raidens 3 or 4 times. What am I in for? Mostly, How different is the combat? If at all.

No. Sam is a charge character he requires you to learn his moves. He's not interchangeable with Raidan
there's a button that makes people buttmad
IMm in basically the same boat OP, i've only played as him a bit but what i'm already liking about him is that he has a dodge input (square+cross/x+a), can double jump and air dash. I'm just into shit like that

Main character has dodge move on the very same buttons as well.

Why the FUCK isn't it free in Europe? I would've bought the Murikan version if I had known. Nowadays I could either purchase the DLC or get the NA version for the same cost to receive the DLC and a second base game but I don't fucking want to spend any more money knowing I could've gotten it for free.

yea I get all that. If you read anything I wrote when I started this thread, you'd already know that I literally just started playing as Sam. Give a guy a break man, jeez.
He plays a bit different. His block isn't as good so he'll stagger on heavier hits, more so then Raiden, but he's fast as fuck. His playstyle is more risk/reward then Raiden since his main thing is to double the damage he gives and recieves.
