There was a trailer at E3 2014 for the reboot. Was looking into potential F2P due to how successful KI was but not much was heard after than and in early 2015 it was reported the game had been cancelled and devs shut down.
Some footage leaked later or around the same time and it looked bad. Like the devs got the idea but half-asses everything else and had no soul compared to the original
