New characters are uninteresting, by and large
There are very few stages in T7 (and FR only showed one new stage so far)
The music is pretty bad in the context of the series
The tailspin combo gimmick is underwhelming and several areas are dumbed down (no more back rolls so oki-ing people is out, sidesteps are nerfed, Tekken Revolution-style back walking, and throw breaking is overly-simplified). Also Rage Arts are injecting cinematic supers into Tekken the same way the Critical Edges in Soul Calibur V and it feels out of place.
They have been very frugal about talking about Tekken 7:FR.
