>Deathadder Chroma started doubleclicking

FUCK

What gaming mouse do I have to buy to avoid this? I must have broken a switch from clicking too intensely, I was really liking this mouse up until now as well.
>>
>>341028451
Any mouse that isn't from Razer will do, also avoid "le professional gaymer" mice.

Steelseries Rival 300.

I'm still running a Logitech MX Revolution that got used from a friend in 2008. No rubber on that thing anymore, but it still runs like it was made yesterday.

The only downside is, that its wireless. But since I don't play tryhard "every ms counts" games, that doesn't concern me.

>>341028698
So what's the difference between these two, I don't really understand

I just don't want the intense fury of my clicks fucking up another mouse, I don't blame Razer, they're probably for normal people

Dude fix it yourself:
https://linustechtips.com/main/topic/397615-fix-for-razer-deathadder-chroma-double-click-problem/

If that doesn't work you gotta bruteforce it by replacing the tension springs or adjusting them. Sadly my Razer did not survive the procedure, but she held up for a good 3 years. (or don't buy intentionally faulty products, the tensions springs are meant to break after a while to encurage buying a new one)

don't think a dead link is gonna help

I'm not busting a mouse open either, I'd just buy a new one
>>
>>341029839
Works on my pc ;)

Try uninstalling synapse and drivers all that shit before buying a new mouse. And yeah, don't waste your time busting open the mouse, those fucking springs are 1/3 as long a 1/5 as wide as a fingernail. Fuckers don't want you to replace them.
Actually changed my opinion while writing this. Fuck Razer. Just get something else out of spite.
>>
>>341028451
logitech g502 is pretty good.
whatever you do, don't buy a zowie.
>>
>>341028451
just open the mouse and put some tape on the contact. You can easily use it for a few years more
>>
Had a cyborg rat 7 for 4 years now, it never broke. Only issue is how dirty it gets , and cleaning it is annoying as fuck.
>>
Logitech is reliable as fuck
>>
>>341030589
why. im not op btw, just lurking, but I tried zowie at my friends, and it was the most comfortable grip i ever had on a mouse. whats wrong with it, i was planning to buy a zowie next time, any legit reason not to?
>>
the deathadder scroll wheel ;n;
>>
>>341028451
Most likely metal fatigue, open that shit up and fix it you pleb.

not enough gaming LEDs for him

logitech would be great if they wouldn't look like they were designed by a 12 year old G A M E R

it's not about looks, it's about sensor and build quality.
>>
>>341029521
Logitech G400s has the best optics in it's and above it's price range. It's genuinely a top tier mouse.
>>
>>341032435
no shit, logitech has the best sensor while zowie comes close second, zowie seems to have a better build quality though

while op is a retard for not just fixing his mouse, I don't see where the problem is.
>>
>>341032451
problem is logitech stopped making them, so they go for insane prices now
>>
>>341031506
Only few Zowie mice are above average, and those all use optics from microsoft mice, so take that as you will.
>>
>>341032531
>zowie seems to have a better build quality though
hahahaha no.
the casing on zowie mice is cheap as shit and frequently cracks or breaks for people.
also remember the time they sold a "gaming" mouse that had 50ms input delay on clicks?
>>
>>341032876
I'm just talking about my own experience, only had ZA11 that won't crack like the 3 Logitechs I've had
>>
>>341032972
>that won't crack like the 3 Logitechs I've had
what did you do throw them at a wall?
those things are built like bricks.
>>

everyone had their paint coat start to break out and one just died after a year of use

I like my EC2eVo, simple, comfortable, 2 years and still in pristine condition. Only has two side buttons, no driver fuckery. a simple DPI controller with a non-overbearing LED.Just wish it had some better/more DPI options.

What mouse should I buy to replace my Naga Elite? I really need the 12 side buttons for FFXIV, but I've been boycotting Logitech since one of their webcams kept BSOD my computer.
>>
>>341034594
just fix it holy shit
requires like 10 minutes of your time and maybe 5 cents in material

TAKE A HAIRDRYER
HEAT THE PADS
TAKE THEM OFF
OPEN THE MOUSE WITH A SCREWDRIVER
GET SOME ADHESIVE TAPE
PUT IT OVER THE CONTACT
PUT IT BACK TOGETHER
USE MOUSE FOR THREE MORE YEARS
