What that pic failed to mention that Headfist came to Bethesda with a more than half-finished game, seeing that they originally had another publisher that went bankrupt on them. Now, with a game that was already far along in development and an audience eagerly awaiting its PC release, what did Bethesda do? Force a team that wasn't familiar with the system or a product developed with it in mind to make it a timed Xbox exclusive, tell them to up the action and gunplay despite that going against the Lovecraftian horror, and then "allow" one of the team members to work on porting it for free when they were being carried out of their offices despite it being clearly stated in the contract that a PC version was to come along with the Xbox one.

No, it was a serious almost horror-themed game that mixed sci-fi and supernatural. Prey 2 looked like a decent enough game, but it had fucking nothing to do with the original. Not even in terms of story, in terms of tone and setting. The setting of Prey was not some fucking star wars coruscant city of aliens going about their day, it was a fucked up place of evil, death and nasty shit.
Prey 2 looked fine but it had no business being called "Prey" at all, it would've garnered more interest if they spun it as a new IP rather than attach it to one that it had zero resemblance to.
