If you can't think of any good ideas to save your life, write a shitty ecchi harem.
After that you can probably get some 16 year old edgy teenager on deviant art to help draw the characters, after lurking the forums enough.

Still learning to code and practicing artwork + static sprite art. Writing is mostly done as far as the outline goes. I have probably twenty years to rework it as I go, considering it's a hobby instead of a job.
Turns out making an SRPG is really not as bad as I expected, though. Turn based games on grids take so much shit out of development. I don't even need physics or any pain in the ass shit like that. It'll leave me more room to focus on fun.

Software, anon. Hardware is the physical computer components. The 'hard' parts.
And it is.
As long as the money comes in, the software, the drivers, the kernels all get developed. Doesn't matter if it comes from millions of unwashed plebeians or from businesses with specific uses.
The only difference is the direction that the development takes.
Because linux receives most of its financial backing from big business, its software revolves around infosec and computer science. Because the majority of windows users are consumers, it revolves around day to day tasks and leisure.
The basics are accomodated in both as a consequence. Because they're necessary.

A lot of these are subtly different, but I'm a little dissatisfied with how blue I - the initial setting - is. Just a little. I want to avoid red since that's a villain color, but I'm trying various hues and saturation levels on the body suit.

A lot of the environments are rust red or construction equipment yellow, with various shades of black as well. Heavily inspired by Nihei and Blame! specifically, which is part of why something like F in particular would appeal to me, but I could see that easily being lost in darker environments.

Pretty much this. I have sort of a half assed idea for a story/game that I came up with for the hell of it when somebody asked me if I had a project. I came up with more ideas but the discussion about actually doing anything with it stagnated. Asked if he knew anyone who would code, nope. Asked if he knew anyone that could do 3d modelling(he even took a college class in 3d modelling), nope. Asked if he even knew people that could voice act. He literally could have asked some people he sort of knew that had some half assed experience doing school plays and shit. Nope.
