It's bullshit because it's a counter to everything instead of the classes he's meant to counter. There's no reacting to it other than predicting where he'll be. But as I said, this is his job, to be on the look for the players who sneak around the back, if he can't kill them then he's a bad class. I'm saying to give the enemy a damn chance at the very least, and even more so all the Genji's and Tracers he's meant to counter can easily kill him instead, but he can kill everyone else. His class is poorly deigned and anti fun due to the flashbang. Alright, fine, have a disable a player function through stuns or whatever, but give it a fucking windup time or something, or nerf his damage or accuracy while fanning so he requires at least a fraction of skill instead of a simple two button combo which kills anything. Other classes have annoying abilities, but at least it's still up to the player to deal with them, and are able to be dealt with, with McRee you just have to hope he's absolutely terrible and you can bait his flashbang, or just hope on doesn't sneak up on you. Look at tracer for example, she can burst you down with her insane dps, but she's fragile as fuck but quick, qith good reaction times you stand a chance, with McRee you have a stun and the dps but no movement. Increase his movement, lower fan damage, or leave shit the same but make flashbangs direct hit only or reduce aoe area so SOME thought is gone into playing him.

I literally have zero issues with him in game since I main Pharah, sure he gets me sometimes as I sneak around but that's fine, even with my insisting on his nerfs I still support the notion that he should be able to kill me 1v1 most of the time in close quarters, it's what he's meant to do, but how he does it is bullshit. It needs to be designed better. Blind the enemy or something instead, make flashbang direct hit, lower fan damage. SOMETHING so he an't counter absolutely everyone with ease. Fuck, I'm fine with him even mostly winning against everyone, but give the attacking player a fucking chance instead of praying that he can't aim.
