Masato Kato still works for SquareEnix. And they could license out the game development to Monolithsoft. Probably could even trick Nintendo into paying for development and publishing.
Chrono Cross is the game that should get a remake the most however. Setting up for a third Chrono game. But both games were made by the same core team. Remake both.
