Charge through them, knocking them around, then start walking backwards towards their spawn, turn on your shield at this point, draw the enemy team apart as some go for the objective and others follow you. If more than you can handle come after you, bait them around corners, then once you're ready, use your rockets to escape and rejoin your team to pick off the rest of the team you separated. If you happen upon a sniper on your way back, knock them off their perch. If the point has pits around it, knock everybody into it.
D.va works very well if you both accept that she's not very strong right now and also you have a team that understands what you're doing and capitalized on it.

Mercy's effectiveness depends heavily on team coordination. With a well-coordinated team, a Mercy can make them practically invincible. You don't get the same effectiveness out of her when playing with randoms for the same reason why the medic in tf2 isn't as important in pubs as he is in comp.
Conversely, Lucio becomes increasingly effective the more scattered both teams are -- his healing rate is fairly easy to focus down, but that implies that the other team is capable of focusing. Also, his AoE healing means that it's less important that your team stick together and pay attention to the healer.
However, his speed boost literally never stops being useful, so the best strat is obviously Mercy + Lucio, with Mercy for heals and Lucio for speed.

When you fly in the air, flying directly into opponents damages them. And you can melee them to add a bit more damage onto it. Be as aggressive as possible, you're in a big fucking mech, scare the shit out of them.
Try to coordinate with your team when to use your self distruct, your ult isn't really good to use on it's own unfortunatly. But can help pull off a distraction. Or keep people off the a payload or spot.
Last note on self distruct, trying flying into the air and then eject out, much harder to see and enemy players have less time to react to it.
D.va is great for dealing with widowmakers and toborn's turrets. Her ability to fly right up to them and greet them without getting one-shotted makes her another great aspect in distractions.
Her defence matrix can also be used during flight, meaning if you need to get a straggling enemy player fast, but don't want to get damaged too badly. It's a great time to use it.
Defense matrix can also be used to charge your ult fast and can eat up hanzo's ult, provided you're close enough to him.
On the note of her cannon's being too weak, they can only be really good up close. Or by being damaged boosted by mercy. You can also track your cannon's pretty well on enemies once you have a bead on them, but again. Cannon's arn't too good without someone to help you.

D.Va's got some crazy identity crisis going on right now. Her health says tank but literally everything else says flanker. She's got no useful tank skills outside of Defense Matrix, which is abysmally trash as a shield. Winston's has AoE, Reinhardt's can be kept up for 2000 damage, and Zarya's gives her more damage (shit, wouldn't that be useful on D.Va?), but hers just pops up for 3 seconds in which...what? You're hoping to catch the enemy reloading if they're not tards who stop shooting when you throw it up? Pointless. You either need to be able to shoot while it's up or get some kind of bonus for destroying projectiles.
That said, her mobility might be the best in the game considering no other hero's skill gives you complete movement along the entire 3D axis the way hers does. But again, her slow movement and awful damage outside of near melee range make her not great at that, either. At best you'll be a nuisance, which I'm sure is what your team will thank you for. If this is going to be her role, she needs a straight up damage buff. Plain and simple.
And then there's her ult, which is retardedly useless. You don't even have to be behind a wall to avoid it. If it's a stage asset, you can get behind it and be safe from her ult. That means waist high signs and railings. Incredible. There are literally so many other heroes that do the kind of scattering that results from her ult and actually get kills from it, too.
Essentially, she's the jack of all trades and master of none, and this patch can't come soon enough. She has the potential to be a cool character.

He has the most healing-oriented ult though. Lucio's is similar, but it drops off quickly if you don't act fast. Mercy's is great if your entire team is dead. Zen's is great for pushing, because the best way to counter a push is to kill the healer.

Problem is that if you sort things properly it exposes the lousy class balance. Toss Symmetra to Defense, Roadhog to Offense or Defense, Dva and Junkrat to Offense... you've got like 8+ Offensive heroes, 3 Supports and 3 Tanks.
