This is seriously the best thing. Fuck the Kills/Assists disparity that games have been using for roughly the past fifteen years.
Anyone who contributes significantly to the kill all are granted the credit for the kill. It eliminates the concept of kill-stealing and even further encourages teamwork since everyone who pitches in gets full credit.

Game's okay but an incredibly low skill floor. They've stated console and pc versions are going to be balanced differently, which gives me hope that some of that shit will be fixed.

Eliminations being kills + assists wrapped into one was a masterstroke, it's literally impossible to go negative unless you are extremely bad, thus everyone feels better about themselves. If you want to find out your real k/d the game also records final blows.
