Qbeh-1 has to be the most comfy game I've played in a while. It has super soothing sounds and some really relaxing puzzling. It actually gave me goosebumps at one point.

I started replayingmaplestoryand its comfy being able to do pretty much everything in that game now when back in the day it was a fucking grind to do basically anything. Like I'm 4-5 days in with casual playing and I'm already level 130ish, whereas before you'd be lucky to be level 30 by that time.

Animal Crossing. Any of them, but if you have to choose, New Leaf is the better one. Comfiness is basically a game mechanic there.

It's not for everybody, but the people that do love Stardew Valley enjoy it because there's no real rush or danger, just harvest your crops, fall in lovewith Pennyand make stack the money high.
I will admit though that after you complete every goal and achievement, there isn't really much left to do and gets kind of boring. Still, I got over 100 hours for a 15 dollar game, more than worth it.

Persona 3 or 4 if you haven't played them.
Secret of Mana was a good rec, but it's a bit dated and weird.
Suikoden 2's towns and, particularly, your castle have such a warm atmosphere that they need a mention.
Hard to beat going to Inoa though after a long and tricky dungeon, though.

Haven't played it so no idea mate.
It seems like it's a Friends of the Mineral Town (which was one of the best) ripoff + some additional features on top of it because its 2016. Might want to look into it yourself.
Honestly I just think it took off because nobody ever heard of HM or wasnt interested in it and then bam an indie game that's PR'd to fucking everybody. It's probably the newfags' first HM experience so it became popular.
