I'm another one who died and I say he's spot-on. The difference between stealing someone's item once and giving them a wink, and killing 3 people at the start of the level and having them watch passively for 5 minutes instead of taking part in the game, is being an asshole. And the double standards here are laughable - if someone took infusion instead of clover, ya'll be losing your mind and breaking your keyboards over your heads calling him a nigger faggot cunt and hard-ban him; but that same someone would deliberately kill a third of the players repeatedly and ruin their game, and it's fine. Fucking hypocrites, neither is OK and both are in bad taste.

You obviously weren't here in the beginnings of /v/ RoR games to witness why Infusion became so hated.
No, they aren't the same no matter how mad you are that a Meteor got you once in your fucking life.
Meteor, is easily avoidable (it got us good due to the surprise in the spawn), if it kills you you just have to wait to do better in the next map like what happens when you die normally, AND it can kill the user which makes it hilarious at times.
Now Infusion on the other hand has the properties to eventually make someone carry the game in glass, because if you survive well by the Temple you'll end with a huge HP, but if you keep dying, it doesn't matter because by the Temple enough enemies start to spawn to make up for it.
So they end up playing alone and fuck all the rest.
They don't even compare on what they can do on the long term in the game.
And please, it's not like I'm saying that it's ok to use Meteor in all games. Just saying that once in a while, a laugh in a fucking GAME it's completely fine, specially when it's the first time I've seen it in a fucking year.

You keep mentioning that it's only a game and that this makes even ATTEMPTING to kill other players OK, and yet if I told you you shouldn't be angry at someone occasionally taking infusion because "it's just a game" you'd reject that notion and say it hurts muh spirit of glass. It seems like infusion bothers you more than PK-ing so you make an exception, whereas I think neither is acceptable and being a huge dick to others in multiplayer isn't OK, even if it's just jewing items, knowingly killing you with funballs or anything else. "It's just a FUCKING GAME" isn't an excuse for killing a player and forcing him to watch a passive game for 5 minutes, missing out on items, XP and gameplay.

This is basic kindergarten stuff. If you don't weed out bad behavior it's going to happen again and again. which will eventually lead to either an enigma on meta or you being banned for being "funny" for player killing.
Contrary to popular belief shitters weren't being banned for just picking infusion or jewing, they also spammed meteor as much as possible.
This makes it a rather sensitive subject for some, and is considered negative behavior by most of the group.
By all means, do keep using meteor so I as a host can personally ban your Ips to keep more of you "bantz" people out of my games.

The screen darkens when it activates. It's the ONLY thing that darkens the screen. And then it marks the ground with a blue flame for 1 second before striking. If you get hit by complete surprise, you absolutely deserve to die.
