Going with a shieldless mage build ATM. So many stats to allocate, goddamn. Never did magic before in DS. Pretty bummed out I got the black knight halberd though, would have went with that if it weren't for the stat investment I already did.
Got invaded once now and engaged in cooporation twice. The invasion was pretty funny, even though the guy was massive twink.

Okay, so I've played this game a lot but never really done much co-op. There's no point in me summoning anyone and I don't want to overlevel to get in normal co-op range so I'm basically limited to the tauros demon and maybe the gargoyles. I've finished the game before offline a couple months ago and I just started playing it again today. Online I got invaded by some cunt when I was level 15 where he just poisons me and even when he let me auto attack him for free he had too much HP for me to finish him before the toxin wore off.
I've stopped walking around in human form because of that encounter because I presume I'm just gonna get my ass handed to me again in a similar manner.

I've been getting very mixed results. Invading as a dickwraith is fast and works flawlessly, but I haven't been summoned for co-op once in ~30 minutes of waiting total over a session that lasted a few hours. Forest PvP is weirdly inactive, I guess people haven't gotten that far yet or something? I would get summoned for it once every few minutes.
It feels fucking good to finally be playing some PvP where a skill advantage translates to actually winning fights though, and being able to punish Estus healing is a godsend. Going up against people with summons is actually fun in this game. I'm having such a good time, I hope people stick around past this weekend.
