In addition, thanks to well-known NPD leakers like ZhugeEX, we now know that the Wii U has had its worst month on the NPD ever. The console reportedly sold just 28,000 units for the entire month. The 3DS reportedly performed better, selling about 72,000 units.

I don't think anyone even cares about Zelda U anymore. I think all the delays killed any hype there may have been for it. I wouldn't be surprised considering the game should have been out 2 years ago.
I bought a used Wii U off ebay last february and havent even touched it.
I bought a 3DS around the same time and I play it almost daily.
