It's decent. I wouldn't say it's great, but it's worth at least a playthrough with the Definitive Edition. It's worth many more if you can get the Spanish audio working right. If it was only a spin-off, then it probably wouldn't have been called as shite as it was.

The action is mediocre, if you have played a western action game this doesn't have much more to offer
The story is horrendous and it is terrible that people actually praised it. Like not just how the dialogue is like some edgy facebook post the actual story is retarded on many levels, Vergil just forgets to tell Dante they will be kings now and is really surprised that they aren't into his plan. Also they kill the one thing holding all the demons back so now it is hell on earth, what a hero
