Tf2 used the entire vauge area that players occupied as it's projectile hitbox

Hardly the same thing though. Every character in QIII is purely a choice of aesthetics, the hitboxes are always the same. Besides, Bone's model isn't that far off compared to what we see happening here.
Also, Warowl showed the same thing in a video with another hero. He claims it's a Hanzo thing only too, his arrows just seem to have a wide hitting zone.
