Hyper settings were really only designed for Nvidia's GPUs (mainly the new 1070 and 1080).
Later in that video they show ultra settings at 1080p and medium settings at 1440p and the 390 comes out ahead in both cases.

The video is running on "hyper mode" which is a new preset above ultra "inspired by the 1000" Series because they have more vram
Funny since the 3.5 cuck card doesn't have enough vram vs the 390.
Anyways, the hyper preset doesn't render everything on the 970 which is shown on other parts of the video like in your screenshot.

An OCd 750 Ti can pull off a near constant 60 FPS at 1080p on medium, so I'm sure a 560 Ti could do 40-50 FPS on the same settings.
Game itself is mediocre though.

I'm thinking of switching too, but I'm a bit afraid to be disappointed. That new AMD card sounds nice, but there has to be something wrong with it, if you consider how cheap it is.
Still, I have yet to play games that will give my rig a hard time, so I guess I won't switch right away anyway.

I have the 980 so I'll be alright for a while - until the unevitable 1080Ti. Then I'll buy whatever is the most powerful. It's been always Nvidia for 15 years now, but that can change.
It probably wont though, since AMD has embraced the price/power ratio market. Thats where they always excelled.
