Some games, like both Senran Kagura SV and EV are compatible with DLCs regardless of region.
I'm on R3 PSN and bought both the R1 Senran Kagura LE because theres no R3 LE.
DLCs from R3 PSN works just fine with the R1 games, at least in the Senran Kagura games.
