She has to live out the entire future from her 'start point' and if she jumps back, she starts at that point in the past. Her current point is before the DCOM test(unknown when, though) as was necessary to redo the events that led to a perfect VLR as necessary.
She would have to return to her point, do everything up to that moment -exactly-, then dodge that single punch. All for what? Unless it's the absolute critical moment, she probably wouldn't put in the effort.
Also Zero's chance games seem made explicitly to fuck with Akane's morphogenetic fortune telling by forcing hard randomness on her.

Akane can time hop over and over and over again.

It's on iOS, but that version has no puzzles, just story. But the best way would be to just emulate it on PC. Literally any computer can emulate DS games fine these days.

I'm gearing up for the inevitable blowback from a vocal minority in the fanbase that's gonna complain ZTD was shit, didn't live up to their expectations/speculations, and should've remained canceled. There was already some about the graphics and change from the VN presentation, so it's probable.
Even if ZTD doesn't live up to the hype, I'm glad Uchikoshi was able to get it out at all. His tweets about the support he's gotten over the years is heartwarming as hell.

999 does that. VLR doesn't, and has probably the best "multiple endings" execution in any game to date. Every single ending is part of the overall story, and you can jump back to any point with a decision through the ingame flowchart and make another decision at any time. it's fantastic. ZTD looks to be doing the same.
For 999 there are a few choices you need to make to get the true ending (which you can only get after getting the safe ending), so I'd advise just looking them up if you do decide to play it. It's one of the things I hate about 999, but the iOS port of it added a flowchart, and the sequel as I said already has one too.

999 is the only one who does that (just use a guide to get the endings, not to mention you can skip all the text you already saw) but VLR and ZTD don't do this at all, you can skip to any point in time you already experienced before with the flow chart in VLR and ZTD.

Playing multiple routes and getting 'bad' or 'good' ends is the only way to unlock the true ends for 999 and VLR. 999 doesn't let you jump to the start of different branches like VLR but you can fastforward through text. It doesn't really have the one-off decisions like you've mentioned, plus there's non-spoilery guides online.
Playing through different routes is fun anyway. You get more backstory and explanation and puzzles in each route, even if they only lead to 'bad' ends, in the Zero Escape series.
