1.13 radically changes a lot of shit, you might want to do a vanilla run first or till you figure out how the basic shooting/crawling/roofhugging works
some mods are not compatible with 1.13 proceed with caution
savescumming can help you learn the game, try out how the same engagement can work out if you approach it differently. the game has your rolls stored and saved, so if you only load back for a missed shot it will sitll miss.
making some rules for yourself then helps to learn how to play cautiosly (eg.: no saving mid combat)
