I made an experiment and stopped picking any support for the game for like 10 games straight just to see what would happen.
Players are fucking awful at this game. They will not swap heroes, they will ignore composition and pick just what gives them kills them complain about how "shit" is their team when they lose the game because they trickle in, meaning even if they do get a kill they eventually run into their counter and keep on dying forever until the match is over.
The only way I win is either by carrying with Roadhog in PUGs or coordinating with friends.

Widow is pretty helpful at the start of the game if there's a Torbjorn or a Bastion which she can pick off with ease. Now afterwards take something with more damage or defensive capabilities so you can stop the enemy from attacking effectively as you close in.

Genji, and Tracer too are a real coin flip in terms of helping the team, the problem is if the player isn't good with him he's 100% useless and has no impact since they never hit anything and just die, if they're good though they can pretty much dominate with how much damage genji does when played well. At least with other heroes you don't need to be good to have some impact on the game. Like Reaper is pretty easy to have any game impact on since you'd have to be retarded to miss half the shots and they deal a lot of damage, and his ult can clear points so well.
