Wipeout and motorstorm RC are pretty good if you like racing games.
Modnation racers is ok, but its a mindless timewaster rather than a challenging game
LBP vita is great
Tearaway is amazing (a bit redundant if you have the ps4 version, but if you don't then the vita version is still worth it because it uses all the vita gimmicks well)
uncharted golden abyss is a bit meh but its a competent 3rd person shooter to mindlessly beat while you relax.
Gravity Rush is kind of a weeb game but it's really good anyway (even though I'm not personally into weeb shit)
Pixeljunk shooter ultimate (I know its multiplat but it's really nice to be able to take on the road)
there's a whole bunch of other multiplat indies that work well on the vita
Resistance burning skies ok but not that great compared to killzone

honestly the only games i play on vita are the HD collections of old ps2 games, ps1 classics and terraria. And i fucking love playing them still. I seriously think that they should make more HD collections for it like for example timesplitters HD collection would be a fucking ace money maker on the vita AND home consoles. A GTA for it wouldn't be a bad idea either. I genuinely think that this handheld has done shit because of the lack of good games because apart from the games it is a fucking awesome thing except for the stupid memory cards and their pricing.
