Graphics were a bit crap, framerate is terrible, game gets repetitive pretty quickly and the humor Zero has to try to offset the repetition and poor level design doesn't really make it all that better.
Characters are one dimensional (although this isn't actually all that weird with Zero's 'sisters') and the dragon gameplay is worse than Drakengard 1.
Sort of like one of those games you pick up at the bargain bin and it came out 7 years ago and got swept under the rug for a last gen console at the console's launch. You begin playing it and it seems really nice but it just seems a bit dated in so many respects despite it's nice qualities. You wonder why it didn't come out on the gen before last. You then put it away or perhaps complete it and never touch it again thinking 'this would have been good a decade ago. nice gaem.'Then Drakengard 3 shits all over that feeling by placing the entire impact of it's story behind endings B, C, and D with ending D being a completely bullshit artificially difficult rhythm game that's a reference to Drakengard 1. You need to jump through a lot of hoops for Drakengard 3 to be a salvageable game but a lot of people won't bother.
I liked it. Getting the translations of the character stories along with /v/ pre-release was great.

I got Ending A in Drakengard's 1-3 and by the time I got them I was fed up with all the bullshit. Drakengard 2 is especially bad because not only is it the worst in terms of horrendous story and gameplay, it's also the longest.
drakengard 3 was insultingly poorly crafted. The story would've made me cringe when I was 16 10 years ago and it's awful now. The gameplay is just fucking dull to boot.
