I'm not sure why consider PC gamers are one of the few remaining markets for aftermarket PC parts. OEM's are dying, all that's left are content creators and people who need to compile huge programs. If high end PC gaming died I could see a huge price jump for desktop hardware.

It's for Linux distro-hopping and occasionally old PC games I find. Plus it's nice as a backup for emergencies, who knows if I might need a driver for something and lose my internet connection.
