Because it was a completely different game. Tommy is no longer the protagonist, and we could have essentially gotten the blade runner game this industry deserved. However, nobody actually knows how good it would have been had it released so I think these threads are a bit excessive for sure. After all, all we got about it was the equivalent of an Ubisoft E3 demo. Still, conceptually, it was amazing.

Just give it a go. It was an early Xbox 360 game but at the time was very graphically impressive. Also, as has been said already, the game did what Portal did like 2 years before Portal existed on top of being an old school shooter. Also had a good story and awesome weapons.
