Twin Dragon Lash is great for bosses, especially early, but it barely works on Metal Slimes. She's better off speeding up everyone else on the first turn then trying it.

Fire Emblem games only seed the RNG if you completely quit out of a chapter and try it again I believe. Other games do it in other places, IIRC Final Fantasy Tactics does it right at the start of every attack. Super Robot Wars either does it on every attack, or at the start of the player phase and enemy phase, depending on the game.

I've been a die hard monsters fan since the original on gameboy, and honestly don't even like Dragonquest mainline games. One day I'll take a picture of 1 2. joker, and joker 2 together. Infinitely better than pokemon.

It was a shame that you couldn't recruit them.Only having four characters in your party felt weird compared to other DQ games. Red would fit right in with her tsundere nature towards Yangus and Morrie was just too based with his awesome arena and bunny waifu. I'll probably get the 3ds version just for the new characters and the ability to marry Jessica. Medea really grew on me too so the waifu choice may be a hard one.

Hey. I just want to tell you. I ordered a copy of Terry's Wonderland and played through the whole thing without ANY knowledge of Japanese. And it was fucking amazing. It's a very easy game to play just by intuition.
If you can afford a jap 3DS, or can hack an english one, I highly recommend getting it.
Coby and Tara 3D is a bit tougher to play because there's more quests and dialogue, but there's a really good walkthrough on gamefaqs.

Mazin is the best monster team
For use in actual fights though the best thing is the team of three King Slimes, that makes them all cast Kazing and Omniheal on your whole party. It's the ultimate ass save button.
