This game is pretty fun. I have both games, on PS4 and (Senran) Vita respectively.
Well, let me qualify my Oneechanbara-- if you play the game seriously, it can be fun, but you have to challenge yourself to play with style and keep up good combos. For the most part, you can run and button mash your way through the game and you'd be bored and mad at me for recommending it to you. But as long as you are willing to dig into the fighting system, you'll find that while it isn't necessarily "deep" it has enough to justify itself and keep you playing and unlocking stuff. The characters are kinda funny given how they all interact with each other. Pls support. I'd love to see more Oneechanbara.

There's a reason why people didn't talk about it when it was new for PS4. PCfriends hyped it up a little when it was announced for PC, but that's because they were ignorant of what it was. Now that it's released, there's a similar lack of discussion.

It's kind of a shitty series. I'm not sure why this one should make me care. I also can't get myself to pay full price for a game like this which is maybe a few hours of mild enjoyment and fapbait. I've never played Senran Kagura but I've at least hear people praise the games as being good, which is more than the tepid praise and experience I've had with oneechanbara.

Senran kagura is kinda all over the place.
SK1 and SK2 are fairly competent, buttom mashey beat em ups. Nothing special but pretty competent. The only issue is that some of the bosses are pretty much just bullets sponges for punches.
Shinovi Versus and Estival Versus are just average Dynasty Warrior clones. Thats pretty much it.
