Actually now that I think of it, despite the DS being extremely successful, weren't there still a ton of jrpgs for the system never released outside of Japan?
I remember a particular jrpg back in 2008 that people were bemoaning about, and some rpgs from se that some stated "were actually good" and yes, even a monolith software game that never got localized in English.
Darn if only it was 7 years ago, I would remember what those games were and the names of said games

Ok I remembered what one of the games was called, Soma Bringer! That's one of the monolith ones that never got released.
Thoughts on that game? Did they make a fan translation for it?

Also Nanashi no Game and its sequel have translations. They are horror games.
