The thing about Hadoukens is that they move incredibly slowly, so they obviously can't feel like a punch, not enough kinetic energy.
However, they do seem to deliver kinetic energy upon impact, so my best guess is that they feel like an explosive of some sort, going off in your face. Not a powerful explosive, but enough to disorient someone. I suppose the best equivalent I can think of is that it's like someone popping a balloon in your face, x100, but silent.
