That they are just not as good as Odin Sphere. Dragon's Crown is boring to play by yourself and Muramasa is repetitive as fuck and gets really uninteresting in the story department halfway in the game. The limited types of swords hurts it too. Grimgrimoire has a ridiculous spike in difficulty even though the story was really interesting and gripping.

I had a ton of fun playing it with the random drop-in multiplayer, but it is really slow until the first tier of dungeons are cleared out and you can start hitting random areas in succession, with that fun risk/reward system. The original was pretty easy iirc, and this game is supposed to be even easier due to gameplay changes from what's been said already. Hard probably won't actually be hard and normal will probably be a bit too easy.

Enemies have actually been revamped with new movesets and the HP of bosses work like Muramasa now where there's actually more than one bar.
Bosses don't die within 5 seconds using refined gameplay.
Classic is definitely easier because Unlimited Power + Overload is way too OP.

Just like the original, the real challenges come from mid-stage boss battles, 5-star battles, and end-stage boss battles. Knowing how to maximize your level up with food can also be part of the challenge. gotta chug that yogurt!
Didn't play the OG game, I looked at some videos but the game didn't look particularly fun. It looked like it was on the easy side and pretty boring, but this could be one of those cases where playing it is a lot more fun than watching it. However, no demo in EU so I won't be able to try before buy. Think I'll pass on it until a price drop, which should be before the summer ends.
