..And the second beast required all people small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand..
>>
People keep asking me if it hurts and it really doesn't. It doesn't feel like anything at all really.
>>
I don't use sandpaper as a mousepad
>>
>>340282252
I did before my PC broke. I don't have the money to buy the part at the moment
>>
>only idiots that don't know how to comfortably place their hands have the mark
Dumbshit.
>>
>>340282252

The mark of the person not into ergonomic use of his equipment?
>>
>>340282252
huh i just realised mine's disappeared since i got a new mouse and pad

G400s gave me the mark but G303 doesn't. well there you go.
>>
if you get this just wear a damn long sleeved shirt when you're on the computer and the sleeve will cover that part, so it won't inflame

>>
>>340283787
you don't get callous skin on your wrist from jacking off
>>
I also have it. Friends told me that it was because I didn't even have a mousepad (I didn't for a long time, but it's been around 5-6 months since I got a mouse pad).
>>
>>340282252
Never once had that mark and I use a computer at least 10 hours a day
>>
ITT high sensitivity shitters who move their mouse with the wrist rather than the whole arm.
>>
>>340284582
I do that mostly.

all you have to do is buy a fucking silicone mouse pad, how fucking hard is it

> not hovering your wrist above the desk

Fucking degenerates. I bet you rest your ass on the top of your chair. Enjoy your shitty posture.
>>
>>340284582

Absolutely.
low sens/lot of movement may be the way to play if you are competitive, but its extremely destructive to your hand

so rather than get tennis elbow and be in pain the rest of my life when trying to shoot shit, I'll just play in a non-destructive manner since I'm not a sponsored e-sports guy

>>

How is smoothly moving your arm with your elbow as a pivotal point "destructive"?
>>
>>340283503

please be in london
>>
>>340285186

>smoothly
Instant 180°s and the like is practically jerking your arm about.

Maybe whatever pleb shit people are playing today don't need the kind of motion quake/ut, even cod 4 used to.
>>
The real "mark" is a patch of hair on your right forearm from rubbing on the edge of your desk top.
>>
>>340284918
the "right" typing seems fucking retarded
I write with the 2nd from "wrong" and its way fucking easier.

Get a gel pad for your wrists you poorfag moran.
>>
>>340285263
Just because it's a fast movement doesn't make it bad for your arm though. You probably stress your arm 10 times as much just from holding your dog on a leash.
>>
I'm scared I'm going to get carpal tunnel or some shit so I've started putting my arm all the way up so my wrist doesn't rub the desk
>>
>>340282885
This

Correct posture and a properly sized desk prevents such things. My whole forearm rests on my desk taking all the pressure away from my wrist.
>>
>>340285460

Sure, but you don't walk your dog 10 hours a day continuously every day - meanwhile if you are actually competitive - you do put in those insane hours.
The quick jerking motions done for extremely long periods (practice) = tennis elbow
Its called that because tennis players do the same, abuse their forearm for a lot of practice hours.
>>
Yes but mine is mine bigger because I chew on it.
>>
>limiting your range of movement by using the wrist as the pivot point
Buy a huge mousepad, position it farther up on your desk, and start using your arm instead of the wrist. You'll get used to it in a few days then feel retarded for ever using your wrist for gaming
>>
>>340285003
This guy is retarded

Tennis elbow is not a chronic condition and if you get it from playing games on your pc it ahould ve the keast of your worries. Tennis elbow is caused by rigourous use of the muscles in your elbow. If moving your mouse is strenuous you must be the weakest person alive.

mr skeltal.jpg
325 KB, 2204x2704
what causes this anyway
>>
>>340285848

You people have no understanding of how muscle use works, and really nothing shows it more than the "you must be weak" argument

Clearly heres a person who've never played something gud enuff to realize that it is "rigorous use of the muscles in your elbow" to play large amounts of time with low sensitivity - which is what competitive play is in a real FPS.
>>
I used to have the mark then I dropped 4grsnd into my PC over the course of 3 years and it went away y this happen

Every pro gamer for every genre has a hitchhikers thumb.

Coincidence?
>>
>>340286036
Nigga i play golf all the time. I got golfers elbow when i first started and never got it again. I have never had any muscle/tendon related issues from playing video games. You need to get out of the hiuse more and build some muscle strength buddy. Go kayaking, hiking, do something to engage your muscles and i gurantee you will never get tennis elvow from playing video games.
>>
>>340287094

Again, you are retarded.

And I think you may be confusing the condition with a simple muscle strain...
>>
>>340286962
I have a hitchhiker's thumb

>>
>>340287289
Did you not go to public school or something? People would always go on about being double-jointed somewhere.
>>
>>340287289
Ability to manipulate a keyboard in ways non pro's can, same applies to controllers.

Honestly, life is easier when you can add 90 degrees to your grip, try and go a day without moving your thumb back like ours naturally do.
>>
>>340287190
Tennis elbow is not a "condition" it is literally a strain of your tendon in your elbow from the repetetive swinging motion that is common in tennis players. If you rest you arm for a week or so it will go away.

Educate yourself and stop being a hypochondriac.

This is the mark of someone with shitty ergonomics.
>>
>>340287531
It's definitely useful for me, I play both piano and guitar and I end up using the extra flexibility all the time. I can bend all my fingers back 90s degrees at the first joint and at the knuckle. I can stretch my thumb and little finger out so they form a 180 degree straight line between them. Can you do this too?

With or without custom mousepads, anyone with that mark do not have either

A: A comfortable grip on their mouse and keyboard to the point where it doesn't cause Carpal or this Meme Mark
B: Any fucking idea how to do things without injuring themselves.
